With hardly any water to survive in such harsh conditions, only a handful of the villagers exist and a majority have migrated to other places. The village fair, too, hasn't been held for years for these reasons. Will Karataka and Damanaka bring relief to the villagers and eventually find solace and a purpose to their lives? The film answers this question.
